    so just how badly do you want image resources as databse (application) icons?

    This "shout out" goes primarily to app devs of Lotus Notes, but also to the savvy admins. For many years you have asked for "image resources" for databases. By that I mean, the ability to specify a file  for the database icon rather than having to create the icon yourself using our old icon editor.  We have heard that you want  .gif, jpg, .png, .bmp etc.

    This issue came up again at our software design review last week.
    If you want it/ need it-- go over the Ideajam and vote and post a response explaining the business value for you and your company

    I cannot promise anything-- but the more votes-- especially with cogent explanations of business value-- the eaiser it is for me to make the case.
