In May, we asked for your participation in a survey to help us gather data on your contact usage and thoughts on the future of contact management.   Thank you to everyone that filled out the survey!

We received a lot of great information from your responses and would like to share some of what we heard:
    • 92.4% of respondents maintain contacts in a collaboration application or mobile device.  Lotus Notes and mobile devices rank 1 and 2 as the places thought to contain their main contact lists.
    • 67.7% have a combined list where both personal and professional contacts are kept.
    • Users are generally satisfied with creating/editing/removing contacts.  A couple examples of concerns with contact functionality include importing/exporting and better integration with other products.
    • There is interest in a unified area for Lotus product contacts, but with a flexibility in how the contacts are displayed, which contact lists are included (whether Lotus product or external) and how this unified area should be kept current.
    • Almost half (45.2%) of the respondents have a daily need to access contacts from another application while performing a task (some multiple times per day).
