    In case you were wondering--yes, men are definitely invited to attend this panel at Lotusphere. We'd LIKE men to attend, because if having only a few women in IT is an issue then it's OUR issue, both men and women, because we all work together.

    I look forward to seeing you there in your comfy shoes. I will be in my heels :)

    As the number of women with IT careers grows, key contributors in the tech space (both men and women) are impacted daily by gender issues. These differences create a great opportunity, and highlight women as a valuable asset to the IT community. Join us as we open and candidly discuss some of these topics in a lively, highly interactive environment. You'll hear a variety of experiences, 'war stories' and advice -- from some of the most notable voices in the Lotus community!
    We'll cover: Which skillsets differentiate women from men in IT? What kinds of unique roles are women best suited for? How to attract women into your organizations, how to avoid getting stuck in traditional 'female geek' roles and move sideways (and up!) into more technical roles, how to develop your own technical credentials without having to play the "who can shout loudest" game, how are advances in technology impacting women's roles and advancement opportunities?
